CHF Annual Fall Dinner

The 2011 Fall Dinner and Silent Auction event at the Monticello Community Center was a fabulous “Thank You” to all our donors who have given to this million dollar campaign to build the hospice house. Reichel’s Catering of Annandale started the evening with appetizers and champagne for our 200 guests while they shopped and bid on 100 silent auction items.
Then we began our dinner and entertainment with our MC, Paul Stokman, who introduced Mrs. MN International, Mindy Urzua. Mindy is an RN hospice nurse and she gave her message on the importance of hospice services. Bob Dahl, CEO of Elim Care, Inc. assured our guests of the overall support and strength we receive from Elim to complete this vision and bring the residential hospice house service to Wright County in 2012.
We were entertained by pianist Sharon Planer and singer Terrell Beaudry while we recognized our strong CHF Board of Directors, Campaign Cabinet, planning committee and all our “Flowers in the Field” that have been tremendous volunteers in our vision to raise 1 million dollars to construct the first ever hospice house in Wright County. Everyone was able to meet our Architects from Pope Associates and Mike Bauer our General Contractor of Bauer Design Build of Delano.
We wish to thank our Table Sponsors, Table Host and Hostess, all of the Wright County Business’s who donated all the silent auction items and every guest present at this wonderful evening.
We have not reached our goal yet and announced at dinner that we have raised $420,000 so far.
We were able to raise $28,968.00 that evening and were able to add nearly $20,000 more to the campaign goal!!
